Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles: Operations Restored After Flood Disruption

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited has announced the restoration of normal operations at its Sanand, Gujarat plants and its suppliers’ facilities following a temporary disruption. The disruption was caused by heavy rainfall and flooding. The company confirmed that the impact on production and financials is not material, and all necessary steps have been taken to ensure normalcy.

Operations Resumed at Sanand Plants

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited has officially informed the exchanges that normal operations have been restored at its facilities in Sanand, Gujarat, as well as at its key suppliers’ locations. This update follows a temporary disruption caused by severe flooding due to heavy rainfall across the region.

No Material Financial Impact

The company stated that while the actual amount of damage is still being ascertained, it is expected to be non-material, estimated between Rs.35 crore to Rs.40 crore. Furthermore, the insurance claim to be lodged is also projected to be non-material, falling below Rs.30 crore. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited has implemented all necessary steps to resume normal operations following the receding floodwaters, ensuring no material impact on the company’s production or overall financial health.
