Anupam Rasayan Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Anupam Rasayan India Limited has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), which ended on June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated total income of INR 668 crore, marking a significant 36% increase compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Revenue from operations stood at INR 655 crore.

Key Financial Highlights

Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter reached INR 175 crore, a 35% year-on-year growth, with EBITDA margins maintained at a healthy 26%. Profit After Tax (PAT) saw a 6% increase, reaching INR 51.2 crore compared to INR 48.5 crore in Q1 FY26. The company noted that the movement below EBITDA was largely due to increased depreciation expenses related to its expanded asset base, including the recent acquisition of Jayhawk.

Strategic Milestones and Growth Initiatives

A significant achievement for the quarter was the commercialization of Ethyl Trifluoroacetate (ETFA) utilizing flow chemistry, a technology where Anupam Rasayan is the first global player. This advancement reinforces the company’s expertise in complex fluorination chemistry and its capability to develop differentiated products.

Furthermore, Anupam Rasayan signed a Letter of Intent with BASQUEVOLT for potential long-term supply of a specialty chemical product, indicating participation in emerging high-growth applications. The strategic acquisition of Jayhawk Fine Chemicals continues to strengthen the company’s global platform, providing a U.S. manufacturing presence and enhancing its advanced chemistry capabilities.

The proposed acquisition of Bliss GVS Pharma is progressing as planned, aiming to create an integrated pharmaceutical platform by leveraging its regulated manufacturing capabilities and market presence.

Outlook and Future Focus

Looking ahead, the company’s priorities remain focused on commercializing products from its existing pipeline, increasing the contribution from its performance material and pharmaceutical segments, deepening customer relationships, and investing in advanced technology and chemistries. The management expressed confidence in sustained growth momentum and delivering efficiencies across its diversified business segments.

Jayhawk Contribution

Jayhawk contributed approximately 20% to 22% of the revenue in this quarter, with robust EBITDA margins around 19% to 20%. The company expects this contribution to grow and play a key role in its semicon and electronic portfolios.

Bliss GVS Pharma Acquisition Update

The acquisition of Bliss GVS Pharma is anticipated to conclude in the first half of September 2026. Post-completion, integration efforts will commence, focusing on supporting Bliss’s management and defining integration strategies. The transaction is being funded through a combination of debt of approximately INR 300 crore and an equity-linked instrument.

Segment Performance

While the agrochemical business saw a seasonal slowdown, the company expects its contribution to remain reasonable. However, the faster growth in performance materials and pharma segments is projected to increase their share in the overall portfolio. The company aims for polymer business to be in the range of 20% to 25% standalone and 30% to 35% consolidated.
