Neuland Laboratories Limited’s Board of Directors has approved a ₹40 crore corporate guarantee for Gland Pharma Limited, facilitating a loan license agreement for new manufacturing capacity. The company also approved an expansion of manufacturing capacity at its Unit 1, adding 18 KL with an investment of ₹39.8 crore to meet growing customer demand.
Board Approves Strategic Initiatives
Neuland Laboratories Limited announced key strategic decisions following its Board of Directors meeting on August 5, 2026. The board approved the execution of a corporate guarantee amounting to ₹40 crore in favour of Gland Pharma Limited. This guarantee is associated with a forthcoming Loan Licence Agreement, intended to establish dedicated manufacturing capacity and incur capital expenditure for specific product manufacturing.
Corporate Guarantee Details
The guarantee will be irrevocable, unconditional, and continuing, securing Gland Pharma Limited’s obligations under the planned Loan Licence Agreement. While there is no immediate impact on Neuland’s financials, the corporate guarantee represents a contingent liability for the company. The promoter/promoter group has no interest in this transaction.
Manufacturing Capacity Expansion
In a move to bolster its production capabilities, Neuland also approved the enhancement of manufacturing capacity at its Unit 1 located in Bonthapally Village, Sangareddy District, Telangana. The project involves an addition of 18 KL to the existing capacity, which currently stands at 376.5 KL with 91% utilization. This expansion is expected to be completed within 6–7 months, requiring an investment of approximately ₹39.8 crore (incl. GST), to be financed through internal accruals. The rationale behind this expansion is to maintain and cater to the growing demand for its products from customers.
Financial Results Review
The Board also considered and approved the Unaudited Financial Results (Standalone & Consolidated) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, along with the limited review reports from the Statutory Auditors.
