This significant contract pertains to development works at Pantnagar Airport in Uttarakhand. The project is to be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, highlighting PNC Infratech’s comprehensive capabilities in the airport infrastructure sector.

Contract Details and Scope

The total contract price for this project is ₹302.44 Crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST). The scope of work is extensive, encompassing both airside and landside development. Key aspects include detailed designing, engineering, procurement, and construction of various airport facilities. Specifically, the project involves the development of cityside works such as the new domestic terminal building, parking, electrical sub-station, approach roads, and ancillary structures. It also includes allied MEP and electro-mechanical works, airport systems, IT systems, and security systems with maintenance. Furthermore, the project covers airside works, including the extension and strengthening of the runway, apron, taxiways, and isolation bay, along with grading and civil works.

Project Timeline and Entity Information

The designated completion period for this project is 24 months from the date of the award. The entity awarding the contract is the Airports Authority of India (AAI), a domestic entity. PNC Infratech has confirmed that neither its promoter group nor any group companies have any interest in AAI, ensuring the transaction is conducted at arm’s length.
