Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences: Gets In-Principle Approval for Preferential Issue

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited has received ‘in-principle’ approval from both the BSE and NSE for the issuance and allotment of 77,02,182 warrants. These warrants are fully convertible into equity shares of Rs. 2/- each on a preferential basis to promoters and promoter group. The approval is subject to the company fulfilling all stipulated conditions and regulatory requirements.

Preferential Issue Gains Exchange Approval

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS) announced on August 7, 2026, that it has secured ‘in-principle’ approvals from both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). These approvals pertain to the company’s plan to issue and allot 77,02,182 warrants.

Warrants Convertible to Equity

These warrants are designated as fully convertible into equity shares of face value Rs. 2/- each. The allotment is slated to be on a preferential basis to identified promoters and members of the promoter group, namely Dr. Abhinay Bollineni, Mr. Adwik Bollineni, and Bharas Ventures LLP. The approvals are conditional upon the company’s adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Post-Approval Formalities

The ‘in-principle’ approvals from the exchanges are subject to the fulfillment of various conditions. KIMS is required to file listing applications promptly after allotment, obtain necessary statutory and other approvals, and comply with all applicable guidelines and regulations. Both exchanges have emphasized the company’s responsibility to strengthen internal controls to monitor trades by allottees and prevent non-compliances, particularly regarding intra-day trading and lock-in periods as stipulated by SEBI (ICDR) Regulations.
