Kajaria Ceramics: Q1 FY27 Revenue Grows 20% to ₹1328 Crores

Kajaria Ceramics has reported a robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY27 (ended June 30, 2026). Consolidated revenue saw a significant 20% year-on-year increase, reaching ₹1328 crores. This growth was primarily driven by price increases, with EBITDA margin standing at a healthy 19.60%. The company also announced strategic capacity expansions at its Srikalahasti and Gailpur facilities.

Kajaria Ceramics Limited has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, showcasing a strong start to the fiscal year. The company achieved a consolidated revenue of ₹1328 crores, marking a substantial 20% increase compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This revenue growth was primarily attributed to effective price increases, with the EBITDA margin for Q1 FY27 reported at 19.60%.

Key Financial Highlights

The financial highlights reveal a notable improvement across key performance indicators. Consolidated sales reached ₹1,328.08 crores in Q1 FY27, up from ₹1,104.33 crores in Q1 FY26. EBITDA saw a significant rise of 41% to ₹260.33 crores. Profit After Tax also demonstrated strong growth, increasing by 55% to ₹169.46 crores.

Strategic Expansions Underway

Looking ahead, Kajaria Ceramics is set to enhance its production capabilities. The company plans a brownfield expansion of 10 MSM at its Srikalahasti manufacturing facility, expected to be completed by March 2027. Additionally, a further 11 MSM line is planned for the Gailpur (Rajasthan) facility, with completion anticipated by April 2027. These expansions are aimed at delivering cost-effective, high-quality products and meeting growing market demand.

Shareholder Value Enhancement

In line with its commitment to enhancing shareholder value, the company successfully completed the buyback of 21,50,000 equity shares, representing 1.35% of its paid-up equity capital as of March 31, 2026, at a price of ₹1,380 per share, aggregating up to ₹296.70 crores. The company expressed gratitude to its shareholders for their continued support.

Operational Updates on Subsidiaries

The update also provided details on the operational status of its subsidiaries. Kajaria Vitrified Pvt. Ltd. in Morbi (Gujarat) operated at optimum capacity with an annual capacity of 8.90 MSM. Kajaria Infinity Pvt. Ltd. also operated at optimum capacity for its 2.70 MSM glazed vitrified tiles. South Asian Ceramics Tiles Pvt. Ltd. in Telangana operated at 95% for its 4.75 MSM ceramic floor tiles. Kajaria Surfaces Pvt. Ltd. operated at 91% for its 6 MSM glazed vitrified tiles. Kajaria Bathware (P) Ltd. operations reported 81% for sanitaryware production (KSPL), 39% for Kerovit Global Pvt. Ltd. (KGPL), and 90% for faucet production.

Manufacturing and Geographical Presence

Kajaria Ceramics maintains a strong manufacturing presence with a total tile capacity of 82.70 MSM distributed across eight plants in India. The company’s production capacity includes Ceramic Wall & Floor Tiles (22.50 MSM), Polished Vitrified Tiles (15.40 MSM), and Glazed Vitrified Tiles (44.80 MSM).
