West Central Railway has declared June 15, 2026, as the appointed date for the “Construction of New Railway line from Km 124/400 to 165/380” in Madhya Pradesh. This significant declaration marks the commencement of the project’s execution phase, encompassing extensive civil engineering works.

The company has received an official letter from West Central Railway, dated June 14, 2026, designating June 15, 2026, as the appointed date for the project “Construction of New Railway line from Km 124/400 to 165/380”. This date signifies the formal commencement of the project’s operational phase.

Scope of Work for Sidhi-Singrauli Rail Link

The project involves comprehensive construction activities between Bahari and Gondawali stations. Key components include earthwork, the construction of minor bridges, major bridges, important bridges, viaducts, and ROB (RCC Box Type). Additionally, the scope covers RUB/LHS, station buildings, tunnels, extensive track work, and other miscellaneous works essential for the Sidhi-Singrauli new Rail link project in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Key Project Details

The contract price for this extensive railway line construction is set at INR 1,897.51 Crores, inclusive of GST. The project is slated for completion within a period of 900 days from the appointed date, which is June 15, 2026. The project delivery model is based on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
