The acquisition was executed by AdaniConneX Private Limited (“ACX”), a strategic joint venture formed by AEL. This development signifies a key step in expanding AEL’s footprint in the digital infrastructure domain, specifically in the rapidly growing data center market.
Acquisition Details
The transaction involved the acquisition of 100% stake in VMDCPL. This completion is in accordance with the terms of the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) previously executed between ACX, VMDCPL, and Adani Infra (India) Limited, acting as the “Seller”. Following the completion, VMDCPL is now officially a joint venture under the Adani Enterprises umbrella, underscoring the company’s commitment to growth in the data center sector.
