This appointment is for a term of five consecutive years, commencing from the conclusion of the 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2027 until the conclusion of the 48th AGM in 2032. This follows the completion of the second term of the current auditors, BSR & Co. LLP, at the 43rd AGM.
Additional Director Joins Board
In a move to enhance board diversity and stakeholder representation, Mr. Shatmanyu Shrivastava (DIN: 12023367) has been appointed as an Additional Director. This appointment is Non-Executive and Non-Independent, with Mr. Shrivastava nominated by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). His appointment is effective from November 2, 2026, and brings over 36 years of experience in finance and risk management from his tenure at LIC.
Senior Management Appointment
Further strengthening its leadership team, UPL has appointed Mr. Sameer Tandon as Senior Management Personnel, effective November 2, 2026. Mr. Tandon will assume the role of President – APAC, Africa, and Europe. He brings over 26 years of extensive experience in leadership roles across B2B and B2C businesses, with expertise in marketing, brand management, and driving business transformation.
