The ship is a 2015-built secondhand Very Large Gas Carrier, identified as “Jag Vikrant”, with an approximate capacity of 82,000 cubic meters (cbm). The company had previously contracted to purchase this vessel in the third quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q3 FY27).

The company has also contracted to purchase another secondhand vessel, a Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier, with the transaction expected to conclude in Q3 FY27.
