Annu Projects Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GEIE Solar Products India Private Limited for the supply of materials for 8,000 grid-connected rooftop solar systems. These systems will be installed in Dausa, Rajasthan, under the Government of India’s PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. This marks Annu Projects’ expansion into the renewable energy sector, with the project aimed at promoting household solar adoption and contributing to clean energy solutions.
Annu Projects Enters Renewable Energy Segment with Key MoU
Annu Projects Limited has announced a significant strategic move into the renewable energy sector by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GEIE Solar Products India Private Limited. This agreement focuses on the procurement and supply of essential materials for the installation of 8,000 grid-connected rooftop solar systems in Dausa, Rajasthan.
PM-Surya Ghar Scheme Contribution
The project falls under the ambit of the Government of India’s ambitious PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, which aims to boost rooftop solar adoption among households nationwide. Each solar system will have a capacity of 1.1 kWp. Annu Projects will be responsible for procuring and supplying all necessary materials, including solar PV modules, mounting structures, DC and AC cables, grid-tied inverters, and other balance-of-system components. GEIE Solar Products India, the awardee of the project, will handle installation, commissioning, and net metering.
Project Details and Collaboration
This initiative is part of Lot-3 (Dausa) of a tender floated by Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL). The project is slated for completion within six months from the award date.
