Strategic Initiatives and Business Updates
The company highlighted the strengthening impact of the 4 labor codes, which are expected to favor organized players. Global Capability Centers (GCCs) were identified as a significant driver of incremental staffing demand, now accounting for 45% of the specialized staffing associate base and 67% of net revenue. General staffing saw over 65% of new logos acquired under variable markup or outcome-linked pricing. The IT hiring environment remained steady, with demand centered on digital transformation initiatives, while AI/ML, cloud, and DevOps were key areas of growth. The Degree Apprenticeship (DA) business added approximately 2,100 apprentices and 18 new client logos.
Financial Outlook and Capital Allocation
The company completed its buyback program, aggregating INR 238 crore. Despite investments in new initiatives, TeamLease maintained a net free cash position of INR 350 crore at the quarter’s end. The management expressed confidence in maintaining overall growth momentum and exploring higher-margin adjacent business verticals. EBITDA for the specialized staffing segment is projected to stabilize between 8%-9% over the next 4-5 quarters.
