Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPVL), formerly Tata Motors Limited, has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹95.8K Cr, an increase of 9.3% compared to the same period last year. The Board of Directors approved the Audited Standalone Financial Results and Unaudited Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter.

Key Financial Highlights

Consolidated revenue reached ₹95.8K Cr (+9.3%), with an EBITDA margin of 7.4% and an EBIT margin of 2.4%. The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) segment revenue stood at £6.0bn (-9.6%), impacted by supply constraints and a planned wind-down of outgoing models. Conversely, the Tata PV segment demonstrated significant growth, with revenue of ₹17.9K Cr (+64.8%) and strong EV volume growth of 112% YoY.

Domestic Business Strength

The domestic business recorded a strong revenue growth of 65% YoY. Tata PV’s market share was 14.3%, maintaining its #2 position. EV penetration in the segment stood at 19%. New launches like the Tiago and Tiago.ev, and the Sierra.ev, have received a positive response.

Profitability and Outlook

Consolidated Profit Before Tax (PBT) (bei) was ₹1.6K Cr. The company is focusing on revenue growth, particularly in the domestic market with rising EV penetration, while managing commodity prices and FX volatility. JLR is preparing for the launch of four new BEVs, aiming for double-digit revenue growth over the next five years.

The accompanying standalone financial results were audited by BSR & Co. LLP, Chartered Accountants. The auditors provided an unmodified opinion, stating that the results present a true and fair view of the company’s financial position in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
