Sun TV Network has announced its financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹4,334.82 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 7.96%. Consolidated profit after tax reached ₹1,440.63 crore. Despite a challenging external environment, the company maintained stable underlying operating performance and declared total interim dividends of 250% (₹12.50 per share) for the fiscal year.

Annual Financial Performance

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Sun TV Network achieved significant growth in its consolidated operations. The group reported total revenue of ₹4,334.82 crore, a notable increase from ₹4,015.09 crore in the previous year. EBITDA for the same period stood at ₹2,214.21 crore, representing a growth of 3.82% compared to the previous fiscal year. Consolidated profit after tax for the year was ₹1,440.63 crore.

Quarterly Highlights

In the final quarter (Q4: Jan-Mar 2026), the company faced a competitive and challenging market landscape. Revenue from operations reached ₹882.51 crore, while profit after tax was ₹232.34 crore. Management noted that quarterly profitability was impacted by specific non-recurring items, including mark-to-market provisioning on mutual fund investments and impairment charges related to investments in a radio investee.

Dividend and Operational Outlook

The company remains committed to rewarding shareholders, having declared four interim dividends during the year totaling ₹12.50 per share. The diverse business portfolio, spanning satellite television across seven languages, FM radio, movie production, and the SunNXT digital OTT platform, continues to provide a robust foundation. Additionally, the group’s cricket franchises—SunRisers Hyderabad, SunRisers Eastern Cape, and SunRisers Leeds Limited—continue to be integral components of the company’s broader entertainment and sports strategy.
