Sonata Software announced today the appointment of Hariprasad Rebala, also known as Hari, as its new Chief AI Officer (CAIO), effective August 17, 2026. Driving AI-Led Transformation
In his new role, Rebala will be responsible for shaping and executing Sonata’s comprehensive AI strategy. This includes overseeing the integration of AI across its entire business, from product offerings and service delivery to platforms and partnerships. His primary focus will be on driving AI-led business outcomes and fostering AI-native delivery models, enabling clients to leverage AI for enhanced enterprise velocity and tangible business value.
Extensive Experience in AI and IT
Rebala brings over three decades of extensive experience from the IT services, enterprise technology, and startup ecosystems. His background includes leadership roles at prominent organizations such as (erstwhile) Mindtree, Capgemini, and Wipro, where he managed large-scale transformation programs and scaled businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief of AI Solutions and Growth at a deep-tech AI startup and co-founded Forfend, a company specializing in IoT and conversational AI platforms.
