Financial Highlights of Q4 FY26

The company delivered a stellar financial performance in the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Revenue grew by 47% year-on-year, while EBITDA and net profit increased by 32% and 17% respectively. The BEV revenue reached a record high, contributing 39% to the total automotive revenue. Strategic Growth and Diversification

Geographic diversification played a key role in the company’s resilience, with India’s revenue contribution crossing 50% for the full year. The firm’s antifragility strategy was evidenced by the acquisition of 4 new driveline orders in the quarter, including its first EV order from Europe in four years. Additionally, the company is successfully scaling its new Railway Business, having recently secured approvals for electric control panels and HVAC systems, opening up large market opportunities valued between ₹1,500 crore to ₹2,500 crore.

Electrification and Future Outlook

Electrification remains the primary growth engine for Sona Comstar. As of the end of FY26, the company holds 67 EV programs across 35 customers, with 37 programs already in production. The company continues to invest in emerging technologies, including in-cabin radar and cognitive robotics, following an MoU with Neura Robotics. Management expects continued growth, supported by a healthy pipeline and the increasing adoption of electric vehicles in India and global markets.
