Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited has unveiled its financial performance for the first quarter of the Financial Year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27), marking a period of robust order intake and continued strength in its order book. The company announced its highest-ever quarterly order intake, with orders reaching INR 915 crore, reflecting a modest 0.5% growth year-on-year. This sustained inflow of new business underscores the company’s competitive positioning in the market.

Sales and Order Backlog Growth

Sales for the quarter were reported at INR 651 crore, an increase of 4.8% compared to the same period in the previous year. The company attributes this moderate revenue growth to project execution timelines and the phased conversion of recent order wins into sales. Significantly, the order backlog continues to be strong, standing at INR 2169 crore, which represents a substantial 32.7% growth year-on-year. This healthy order backlog provides strong revenue visibility for the company.

Profitability and Market Dynamics

In terms of profitability, the company reported EBIT of INR 32.1 crore, PBT of INR 17.0 crore, and PAT of INR 12.4 crore. Schneider Electric Infrastructure noted that profitability was impacted by commodity price volatility and a lag in passing on higher input costs. Despite these challenges, the company highlighted strong demand across emerging segments such as data centers and semiconductors. The financial statements also indicate a moderate revenue growth trajectory, influenced by project execution timelines and the phased conversion of recent order wins into sales.
