SBI Cards and Payment Services has announced robust financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a significant growth in profit and revenue, reflecting strong operational performance. Profit after tax for the year stood at ₹2,166.71 crore, while total revenue from operations reached ₹19,899.63 crore. The Board of Directors has also declared an interim dividend of ₹2.50 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26.

For the financial year ending March 31, 2026, SBI Cards recorded a total income of ₹20,707.62 crore, an increase from the previous year. The profit after tax rose to ₹2,166.71 crore compared to ₹1,916.41 crore in the previous fiscal year. This performance highlights the company’s resilient credit card business and operational efficiency throughout the year.

Quarterly Performance Review

In the fourth quarter (Q4) ending March 31, 2026, the company reported a profit after tax of ₹609.30 crore. Total revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹4,934.50 crore. The company continues to maintain a strong capital position, with a Capital Adequacy Ratio of 25.47% as of the end of the fiscal year.

Asset Quality and Management Strategy

The company demonstrated improved asset quality metrics during the year. As of March 31, 2026, the Gross NPA ratio stood at 2.41%, an improvement from 3.08% in the previous year. Similarly, the Net NPA ratio improved to 1.04% from 1.46%. Management has proactively addressed volatility by carrying an additional impairment provision of ₹220 crore as a management overlay, ensuring a prudent approach to risk management.

Dividend Declaration

Recognizing the company’s solid financial health and commitment to shareholder value, the Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of ₹2.50 per equity share. This dividend, representing 25% of the face value, is for the financial year 2025-26, reflecting the company’s confidence in its long-term growth trajectory.
