Radico Khaitan unveils Rampur 1943 Virasat Indian Single Malt, celebrating its distillery’s heritage since 1943. Crafted with Indian barley and finished in Ruby Port Pipes, this whisky embodies a refined, contemporary identity. Priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500, it will first launch in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi. The single malt reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation.

Honoring Heritage with New Release

Radico Khaitan Limited introduces Rampur 1943 Virasat Indian Single Malt, a tribute to the Rampur Distillery’s legacy since 1943. The whisky aims to combine tradition and innovation to create a product of depth and character.

Crafting Process

The single malt is crafted at the foothills of the Himalayas, using carefully selected six-row Indian barley. It is distilled in newly designed pot stills and matured in American Bourbon Barrels, finished in Ruby Port Pipes. The maturation process is influenced by the North Indian climate, with temperatures ranging from 45°C summers to 2°C winters.

Flavor Profile

Rampur 1943 Virasat offers a flavor profile featuring sweet vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, followed by malty richness and tropical fruits. The finish consists of red berries, stewed fruits, silky spice, and a lingering sweetness from its Ruby Port Pipe finish.

Availability and Pricing

Priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500 per bottle, the new release will be available first in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi before expanding nationwide.
