Oswal Pumps Ltd Secures ₹162 Crore Solar Pump Order from MSEDCL

Oswal Pumps Limited has received a major order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The contract, valued at approximately ₹162.06 crore (including GST), involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of 6,896 off-grid solar water pumping systems. This project, awarded under the PM Kusum B Scheme, aims to support sustainable irrigation and reduce the dependence of farmers on grid power and diesel-based water pumping solutions across Maharashtra.

Boosting Sustainable Agriculture in Maharashtra

As part of its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector, Oswal Pumps Limited has been tasked with executing a large-scale project across the state of Maharashtra. The order involves the delivery of 6,896 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems with capacities of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP. The project is a key initiative under the “Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump” Yojna, which is designed to provide reliable, clean energy solutions to farming households.

Project Execution and Scope

The comprehensive contract covers the entire lifecycle of the equipment, including design, manufacturing, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning at identified farmer sites. Additionally, Oswal Pumps will provide a 5-year warranty, as well as repair and maintenance services supported by a Remote Monitoring System (RMS). The company is committed to completing the installation phase within 60 days from the issuance of the work order, with the overall empanelment valid for a period of one year.
