NTPC Limited has announced the appointment of its statutory and joint statutory auditors for the Financial Year 2026-27. This appointment, made by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), includes five firms to oversee the company’s financial audits. NTPC Appoints Statutory Auditors for FY 2026-27
NTPC Limited has officially informed the stock exchanges about the appointment of its statutory and joint statutory auditors for the upcoming financial year, 2026-27. This significant corporate action was taken pursuant to Regulation 30 and Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Auditor Appointments
The appointments were made following a letter dated 7th September 2026, received from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG). The following five Chartered Accountant firms/LLPs have been appointed as the Statutory/Joint Statutory Auditors:
- M/s HEM SANDEEP & CO
- M/s O P BAGLA & CO, LLP
- M/s LAXMINIWAS & CO
- M/s P S D & ASSOCIATES
- M/s LALDASH & CO
Each of these firms has been appointed for the financial year 2026-27.
Disclosure Requirements
NTPC has stated that the requisite details in terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended, read with SEBI Master Circular dated 30th January 2026, will be informed in due course.
