NTPC Green Energy: Declares Commercial Operation for 9.45 MW Vanki Wind Project

NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commercial operation of the third part capacity of 9.45 MW for the Vanki Wind Energy Project in Gujarat. This adds to its subsidiary’s renewable energy portfolio. The group’s total installed capacity now stands at 10,920.53 MW, reflecting its continued expansion in the renewable energy sector.

Commercial Operation Declared

NTPC Green Energy Limited has officially declared the commercial operation of a new renewable energy asset. The third part capacity of 9.45 MW from the Vanki Wind Energy Project, located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, has commenced operations. This project is part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.

Capacity Expansion

The current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has reached 10,911.08 MW. With the addition of this new wind power capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has now increased to 10,920.53 MW. This development signifies the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its renewable energy generation capabilities.
