Larsen & Toubro: Semiconductor Arm Unveils 40 Products, First SiC Chips

L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited (LTSCT), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has unveiled 40 new products at SEMICON India 2026. This launch marks a significant milestone with the introduction of LTSCT’s first silicon carbide (SiC) product platform, alongside a fully designed-in-India BLDC motor controller. The portfolio spans secure identity, surveillance, communication, and power conversion technologies, supporting India’s semiconductor ecosystem goals.

LTSCT Launches 40 Products at SEMICON India 2026

L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited (LTSCT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has announced the unveiling of 40 products at the SEMICON India 2026 event. The launch, themed “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,” highlights LTSCT’s commitment to strengthening India’s semiconductor capabilities across national security, digital sovereignty, and energy resilience.

Key Product Innovations

The showcase includes two major milestones: LTSCT’s first Silicon Carbide (SiC) product platform, a high-performance 1200V SiC MOSFET platform designed for next-generation power conversion applications like EV fast chargers and microgrids. Additionally, LTSCT has taped out a fully designed-in-India BLDC motor controller, integrating advanced protection features and a flexible architecture.

Broader Portfolio Highlights

The 40-product portfolio addresses critical infrastructure needs, offering solutions in secure identity, intelligent surveillance, IP cameras, and communication technologies. LTSCT’s offerings also support the growing demand for indigenous compute and connectivity capabilities essential for India’s data centre and AI infrastructure development. The company showcased live demonstrations of its integrated BLDC controller, a USB C GaN charger, an indigenous Vision Camera SoC with AI acceleration, and a Secure Identity Platform.
