IRB Infrastructure: Net Profit Surges 51% to ₹306 Crore in Q1 FY27, Declares Dividend

IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited reported a substantial 51% year-on-year increase in net profit for the first quarter of FY27, reaching ₹306 crore. This growth was driven by total income of ₹2,173 crore and a 14% rise in toll revenue. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹0.05 per equity share, reflecting strong financial performance and commitment to shareholder returns. Key business highlights include the commissioning of the Ganga Expressway and commencement of tolling on TOT18.

IRB Infra Reports Robust Q1 FY27 Performance

IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), showcasing significant year-on-year growth. The company’s Net Profit surged by approximately 51%, reaching ₹306 crore, compared to ₹202 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. This impressive performance underscores the company’s strong operational capabilities and strategic execution.

Key Financial Highlights

The company reported a Total Income of ₹2,173 crore for Q1 FY27, a slight increase from ₹2,165 crore in Q1 FY26. Toll Revenue also saw a healthy growth of 14%, standing at ₹733 crore against ₹646 crore in the prior year’s quarter. In line with its robust financial performance, the Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of ₹0.05 per equity share of face value Re.1/-.

Operational Milestones

IRB Infrastructure also highlighted several key business achievements during the quarter. The company successfully commissioned the Ganga Expressway (Meerut to Budaun Group 1 BOT) and commenced tolling operations. Additionally, tolling began on TOT18 (Chandikhole Bhadrak NH-16) from April 1, 2026. The company’s private InvIT Joint Venture, IRB Infrastructure Trust, also offered two highway BOT assets worth ₹4,605 crore to the IRB InvIT Fund.

Management Commentary

Shri Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman & Managing Director, commented, “We are successfully navigating the current global economic challenges, driven by the strength of our Rs. 94,000 Crores asset portfolio. Our toll revenue is growing and our B.E.S.T strategy is firmly on track.” He added that the company is confidently moving towards its goal of a ₹1,40,000 crore asset base by 2030.
