Info Edge (India) Ltd. has announced significant updates to its leadership team following a Board of Directors meeting held on September 14, 2026. These changes include the appointment of a new Additional Director and the transition of its Chief Financial Officer role.
Appointment of Mr. Naresh Chand Gupta
The Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Naresh Chand Gupta (DIN: 00172311) as an Additional Director. He will be designated as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years, commencing from October 1, 2026, until September 30, 2031. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval via Postal Ballot. Mr. Gupta is not related to any existing Directors and is not debarred from holding such an office.
Leadership Transition in Finance Department
In a related development, the tenure of Mr. Ambarish Raghuvanshi as the Interim Chief Financial Officer (Interim CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) will conclude on September 16, 2026. This transition coincides with the assumption of office by Mr. Himanshu Agarwal as the Chief Financial Officer (KMP) and Additional Director, effective September 17, 2026. Mr. Agarwal will also be designated as a Whole-time Director.
Mr. Raghuvanshi will continue to support the Company as a Finance Advisor until October 31, 2026, to ensure a smooth handover and transition of responsibilities.
Reconstitution of Board Committees
Following these appointments, the Board has reconstituted its committees. Mr. Himanshu Agarwal has been inducted as a member of the Risk Management Committee and the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Committee (BRSR) with effect from September 17, 2026.
The Board of Directors expressed its sincere appreciation for the valuable contribution and support extended by Mr. Ambarish Raghuvanshi during his tenure as Interim CFO.
