IFB Industries: Reports 17% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27

IFB Industries has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY 2026-27, reporting a robust 17% growth in revenue to ₹1529.09 crore. Profit Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (PBDIT) saw a substantial increase of 26% to ₹88.46 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) also grew by a significant 50% to ₹38.06 crore, reflecting improved operational efficiency and margin enhancement across the company’s divisions.

IFB Industries Limited has released its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, showcasing strong growth and improved profitability. The company’s total income reached ₹1529.09 crore, marking a significant 17% increase compared to the ₹1310.82 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY 25-26).

Key Financial Highlights

PBDIT and PAT Growth

The company demonstrated robust operational performance with Profit Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (PBDIT) rising by 26% to ₹88.46 crore (Q1 FY 26-27), up from ₹69.95 crore in Q1 FY 25-26. This growth led to an improvement in the PBDIT margin to 5.79% from 5.34% in the prior year period. Consequently, Profit After Tax (PAT) surged by 50% to ₹38.06 crore, compared to ₹25.36 crore in the same period last year. PAT margin improved to 2.49%.

Segment Performance

The Home Appliances Division reported a revenue growth of 17.1% from operations, with HAD and Engineering segments contributing 18% and 17% respectively. The Engineering Division also witnessed a healthy revenue growth of 17.34%, reaching ₹258.16 crore, with PBDIT growing by 17.54%. The Steel Division saw marginal growth with revenue at ₹51.00 crore, though operating performance was impacted by raw material costs and furnace commissioning delays.

Strategic Initiatives and Outlook

IFB Industries highlighted several strategic focus areas, including cost optimization, improving operational efficiencies, and strengthening product portfolios across divisions. The company also mentioned initiatives such as the expansion of its premium product range in Home Appliances and exploring new business segments like electronics components within the Engineering division. The outlook suggests a continued focus on volume growth, market share expansion, and sustainable profitability.

The company will be holding a conference call with investors and analysts on August 14, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. (IST) to discuss the unaudited financial results.
