Gujarat Energy Limited Revised Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for FY 2025-26

Gujarat Energy Limited has issued revised standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. The revision addresses an inadvertent error where Profit After Tax (PAT) figures were disclosed instead of the required Profit Before Tax (PBT) for segment reporting. No other financial figures or disclosures have changed. The company has submitted the corrected segment-wise financial details, ensuring accurate reporting of PBT.

Revised Financial Reporting for FY 2025-26

Gujarat Energy Limited has released a revised statement detailing its standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. This update rectifies an earlier disclosure error where the Profit After Tax (PAT) was inadvertently reported in the segment-wise financial details instead of the intended Profit Before Tax (PBT) figures.

The company emphasizes that this revision is purely for the correction of the PBT figures in the segment reporting and does not alter any other financial data, disclosures, or previously published financial results. The corrected segment-wise financial details have been submitted to the stock exchanges.

Key Financial Highlights (Standalone)

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the standalone Total Segment Results were ₹2,736.32 Crores. The Profit Before Tax stood at ₹3,088.65 Crores, and the Profit After Tax was ₹2,298.55 Crores.

The revised statements, along with the auditors’ report, have been enclosed for reference.

Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement

The company’s financial results are significantly impacted by the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement sanctioned by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). This scheme involved the amalgamation of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, Gujarat State Petronet Limited, and GSPC Energy Limited with Gujarat Gas Limited (now Gujarat Energy Limited), effective from April 1, 2024. Additionally, a demerger of the ‘Gas Transmission Business Undertaking’ into GSPL Transmission Limited (GTL) took effect from April 1, 2025.

These corporate restructuring events, including the name change to Gujarat Energy Limited from May 14, 2026, have been accounted for using the pooling of interest method. The company has recognized a capital reserve on business combination in ‘Other Equity’ due to the amalgamation.

Auditor’s Opinion

The statutory auditors have expressed an unmodified opinion on both the standalone and consolidated financial results, confirming that they are presented in accordance with the Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and provide a true and fair view.
