Gokaldas Exports Announces Strong Q2 FY27 Financials

Gokaldas Exports has reported robust financial performance for the second quarter of FY27, ended September 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated total income reached ₹1,135 crore, marking a significant 13% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by a 10% YoY increase in income from the India business and a strong 32% YoY growth from the Africa business, attributed to higher volumes and improved realisations.

EBITDA and Margins Surge

The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹127 crore, an impressive 52% rise year-over-year. This substantial growth in EBITDA was supported by an improved product mix, productivity gains, and a lower base in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, which was affected by US tariffs. Consequently, EBITDA margins expanded to 11.2% during the quarter, up from 8.3% in Q2 FY26.

Half-Year Performance and Debt Reduction

For the first half of FY27 (1HFY27), Gokaldas Exports recorded a total income of ₹2,315 crore, a 17% growth over 1HFY26. The India business grew by 13% YoY, while the Africa business saw a 39% YoY increase. EBITDA for 1HFY27 grew by 32% YoY to ₹266 crore. On the balance sheet, the company demonstrated financial discipline with a net debt decline to ₹429 crore as of September 2026, down from ₹553 crore in March 2026.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the results, Mr. Sivaramakrishnan Ganapathi, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Gokaldas Exports, stated, “Better order execution in India and higher volume and realizations in Africa led to a strong income growth in the quarter. Focus on productivity gains and a strong order book should help growth and margins going forward.”
