On April 16, 2026, the Board of Directors of DCM Shriram Limited approved the execution of key transaction documents to initiate a joint venture with Teknor Apex B.V.. By divesting a 50% stake in its subsidiary, Shriram Polytech Limited (SPL), the company transitions SPL from a wholly-owned unit to a collaborative joint venture. This move is designed to strengthen DCM Shriram’s position within the advanced materials and polymer compounds market.

Financial and Operational Details

The transaction, valued at USD 5.6 million in cash, is expected to be completed by April 23, 2026. As of March 31, 2025, SPL reported a turnover of 201.63 Crores, with a net worth of 78.36 Crores. These figures represent approximately 1.58% of the parent company’s turnover and 1.13% of its net worth, highlighting the significant growth potential this partnership aims to unlock.
