SBI Funds Management Limited has submitted applications to the BSE and NSE seeking ‘no objection’ for the reclassification of Indian Digital Payment Intelligence Corporation from the ‘Promoter Group’ category to the ‘Public’ category. This move follows Board approval and is in accordance with SEBI Listing Regulations. The company also noted that a separate request for Amundi Asset Management’s entity reclassification is not applicable due to its winding up.
Stock Exchange Applications Filed for Reclassification
SBI Funds Management Limited has officially lodged applications with both the BSE Limited (“BSE”) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (“NSE”) on October 27, 2026. These submissions are to obtain their “no objection” regarding a proposed reclassification of an entity from the ‘Promoter Group’ to the ‘Public’ category. This action is pursuant to Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Entity Reclassification Details
The company had previously received approval from its Board of Directors for the request initiated by State Bank of India, a promoter, to reclassify Indian Digital Payment Intelligence Corporation. This entity, part of the promoter group, is now sought to be moved to the ‘Public’ category. This intimation aligns with the company’s commitment to transparent corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Other Reclassification Noted
Furthermore, the Board had also approved a request from Amundi Asset Management, another promoter, concerning AIXIGO TR YAZILIM LIMITED SIRKETI. This entity, also part of the promoter group, was subject to a request for removal or reclassification due to its voluntary winding up and dissolution. As the entity has already wound up, the requirement for filing separate applications to BSE and NSE for this specific case is deemed not applicable.
