Penalty Paid for Delayed Filing

Birlasoft Limited has disclosed the adjudication order from the Collector of Stamps, confirming a penalty payment of ₹1,23,14,040. This charge stems from a delay of 4 days in submitting the NCLT Order, which sanctioned the Composite Scheme of Arrangement, to the relevant stamp authorities.

No Material Impact on Operations

The company has confirmed that the payment of this penalty will be made in accordance with the prescribed process. Crucially, Birlasoft stated that the incident has no material impact on the company’s financial performance, ongoing operations, or any other business activities.
