Bharti Airtel: 460,340 Equity Shares Converted to Fully Paid-Up

Bharti Airtel Limited has announced the conversion of 460,340 partly paid-up equity shares into fully paid-up equity shares. This action follows the receipt of the First and Final Call amount from shareholders. The company has completed the necessary corporate actions and received listing and trading approvals from the Stock Exchanges. These fully paid-up shares will be available for trading with effect from Wednesday, August 19, 2026, under the existing ISIN.

Bharti Airtel Completes Share Conversion

Bharti Airtel Limited has successfully completed corporate actions for the conversion of a significant number of partly paid-up equity shares into fully paid-up equity shares. This update follows an earlier announcement on July 24, 2026, which detailed the approval by the Special Committee of Directors for this conversion. The conversion pertains to 460,833 partly paid-up equity shares, each with a face value of INR 5 and a paid-up value of INR 1.25, now becoming fully paid-up shares of INR 5 face value.

Trading Details for Converted Shares

The company has completed the credit of 460,340 fully paid-up equity shares to the demat accounts of eligible shareholders. Furthermore, Bharti Airtel has secured the necessary listing and trading approvals from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited. As a result, these 460,340 fully paid-up equity shares will be available for trading on the stock exchanges commencing Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The shares will trade under the existing fully paid-up ISIN: INE397D01024.

Handling of Remaining Shares

It was noted that corporate actions for 493 partly paid-up equity shares could not be completed due to technical errors in the demat accounts of the concerned shareholders. Bharti Airtel stated that it will take appropriate steps to convert these remaining shares into fully paid-up equity shares in due course, upon request from the respective shareholders.
