Assets Under Management (AUM) experienced a growth of 24%, reaching ₹546,944 crore. The company delivered an AUM addition of ₹36,969 crore. Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew by a notable 28% to ₹8,149 crore. Furthermore, Bajaj Finance booked 16.13 million new loans and added 5.10 million new customers during the quarter. The customer franchise stood at 124.43 million.

Excluding these, loan losses and provisions saw a decline of 14% compared to Q1 FY26.
Asset Quality and Capital Adequacy
Asset quality remained robust, with Gross NPA and Net NPA improving to 0.96% and 0.39% respectively, as of June 30, 2026. The provisioning coverage ratio on stage 3 assets stood at 60% in Q1 FY27. Capital adequacy remained strong at 20.90% as of June 30, 2026, with Tier-1 capital at 20.01%.
Subsidiary Performance
The presentation also detailed the performance of its subsidiaries:
- Bajaj Housing Finance Limited (BHFL): Reported a good quarter with PBT growing 23% to ₹929 crore and AUM growing 24% to ₹149,624 crore. Annualized credit cost was at 5 bps.
- Bajaj Financial Securities Limited (BFSL): Added 108K customers in Q1 FY27, with AUM growing 60% to ₹9,770 crore and PAT growing 22% to ₹50 crore.
