The company reported a significant increase in annual revenue to ₹66,968.03 crore and a net profit after tax of ₹3,223.93 crore. Additionally, the company announced key leadership changes, including the re-designation of its Chief Business Officer and adjustments to its senior management team as part of its ongoing operational strategy.
Fiscal Year 2026 Financial Highlights
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, Avenue Supermarts demonstrated strong performance with its revenue from operations reaching ₹66,968.03 crore, compared to ₹57,789.81 crore in the previous year. The company’s net profit after tax for the year stood at ₹3,223.93 crore, reflecting an upward trend from ₹2,927.18 crore recorded in FY 2025. In the final quarter, revenue was reported at ₹17,204.50 crore, with a quarterly net profit after tax of ₹724.60 crore.
Strategic Leadership Transitions
The company announced several key organizational shifts effective May 2, 2026. Mr. Hitesh Shah has been re-designated as the Chief Business Officer – Pharmacy and Food Services, expanding his oversight to include the Food Business. Simultaneously, Mr. Ravi Sharma, currently Head of Risk and Compliance, will take on the additional role of Internal Auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. These changes reflect the company’s focus on streamlining its management structure to support continued operational growth.
Board Changes
The company also noted that Mr. Chandrashekhar Bhave will conclude his second term as an Independent Director on May 16, 2026. The Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for his years of guidance and support. Furthermore, Mr. Rohit Mundhra, formerly the Internal Auditor, is transitioning to the role of Regional Head – Operations (Rajasthan), which results in a change to his reporting structure and senior management classification.
