Allied Blenders & Distillers records highest ever monthly sales

Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABD) has announced its highest-ever monthly sales volumes for two consecutive months, September and October 2026. The company reported over 3.5 million cases in September and more than 3.6 million cases in October, surpassing 7 million cases combined. This milestone was driven by strong festive season demand and the performance of key brands, including Officer’s Choice Brandy and Sumo Whisky, which achieved millionaire brand status, bringing ABD’s total to six such brands.

Record Monthly Sales Achieved

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), a leading Indian spirits company, has reported unprecedented sales performance in the recent festive season. The company achieved its highest-ever monthly sales volumes in both September 2026 and October 2026. In September, sales exceeded 3.5 million cases, followed by over 3.6 million cases in October, marking a significant surge in demand. The combined volume for these two months surpassed the 7 million cases mark.

Key Brands Drive Growth

This record performance demonstrates sustained market demand and execution excellence from ABD. The company’s flagship brands, Officer’s Choice franchise and ICONIQ White, have been instrumental in this growth, alongside a strategy of premiumisation and expanded market reach. Notably, Officer’s Choice Brandy has joined the elite group of millionaire brands, achieving near double-digit market share in the southern states within the Mass Premium category. Additionally, Sumo Whisky, a newer entrant in the Mass Premium and Others segment, also achieved millionaire brand status in October 2026, further bolstering ABD’s whisky portfolio.

Expanding Millionaire Brand Portfolio

With these recent additions, Allied Blenders and Distillers now boasts a portfolio of six millionaire brands. This milestone underscores the company’s robust market presence and the depth of its product offerings across key spirits categories. The growth was broad-based, supported by strong consumer response across various regions, the defence market, and importantly, international markets which played a crucial role in sustaining this momentum.
