Advanced Enzyme Technologies: Board Approves Share Buyback and Acquisitions

Advanced Enzyme Technologies’ Board of Directors has approved a share buyback program of up to ₹697 million at a maximum price of ₹500 per share. The company also sanctioned the acquisition of the remaining stake in JC Biotech Private Limited, aiming for a wholly-owned subsidiary status, and an additional infusion of funds into Advanced Nutrazyme Private Limited. These strategic decisions reflect the company’s focus on enhancing shareholder value and consolidating its business operations.

Board Approves Share Buyback and Strategic Acquisitions

The Board of Directors of Advanced Enzyme Technologies Limited, in its meeting held on August 08, 2026, has approved a significant share buyback program. The company plans to buy back its fully paid-up equity shares at a price not exceeding ₹500 per share, with an aggregate buyback size of up to ₹697,000,000. This buyback, which will be conducted through the stock exchange mechanism via the ‘Open Market’ route, is intended to return value to shareholders and is expected to encompass approximately 1.24% of the company’s existing paid-up equity capital.

Acquisition of JC Biotech to Create Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

In a strategic move to consolidate its business operations, the Board has also approved the acquisition of the remaining 4.28% stake in JC Biotech Private Limited (‘JCB’) from its existing shareholders. Upon completion, JCB will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advanced Enzyme Technologies. This move is aimed at optimizing synergies across the consolidated business operations. The turnover of JCB for FY 2026 was reported at ₹728 million.

Fund Infusion into Advanced Nutrazyme

Furthermore, the company has approved the infusion of additional funds, not exceeding ₹20 million, into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advanced Nutrazyme Private Limited (‘ANPL’). This infusion will be made through equity investment or inter-corporate deposit and is intended to support ANPL’s business operations and general corporate purposes. The revenue for ANPL in FY 2026 was ₹0.02 million.

Unaudited Financial Results Approved

The Board also approved the Un-audited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The limited review report from the Statutory Auditors has been enclosed with these financial results.
