The project was operationalized through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited (AHEJa5L), and is situated in Khavda, Gujarat. This development marks a significant step in AGEL’s ongoing expansion of its renewable energy portfolio.
Expanded Renewable Footprint
With the addition of this 50 MW project, AGEL has now achieved a substantial milestone, reaching a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,835.8 MW. Furthermore, the company’s operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity has reached 3,366 MWh. These figures underscore AGEL’s significant contribution to India’s renewable energy targets.
Operational Commencement
The decision to operationalize the plant and commence power generation was made following the receipt of all necessary clearances. Power generation from the Khavda facility officially began on June 01, 2026. This event confirms AGEL’s commitment to timely project execution and contributing to the clean energy transition.
