Aarti Drugs Limited announced key leadership transitions following a Board of Directors meeting on July 31, 2026. Shri Prakash M. Patil will retire as Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO effective September 30, 2026, after a distinguished tenure. Shri Rashesh C. Gogri will assume the role of Chairman, in addition to his existing position as Managing Director, effective October 1, 2026. Shri Adhish P. Patil has been appointed as the new Managing Director.

Aarti Drugs Limited has disclosed significant changes in its top leadership following a Board of Directors meeting held on July 31, 2026. These changes are part of an orderly leadership transition, as approved by the Board.
Retirement of Chairman and MD
Shri Prakash M. Patil, who has served as the Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company, will retire effective September 30, 2026. His retirement, which comes ahead of his scheduled term end on May 31, 2027, is driven by his desire for early retirement. The Board expressed deep appreciation for his visionary leadership and invaluable contributions since the Company’s inception, particularly his leadership as Chairman since 2014.
New Chairman and Managing Director Appointed
Effective October 1, 2026, Shri Rashesh C. Gogri will be elevated to the position of Chairman of the Company, while continuing in his role as Managing Director. Shri Gogri has been associated with Aarti Drugs as the Managing Director since September 2014, playing a pivotal role in the Company’s growth and market development.
Furthermore, Shri Adhish P. Patil has been appointed as the Managing Director for a period of 5 years, effective October 1, 2026. Shri Adhish P. Patil, who has been associated with the Company as Chief Financial Officer since April 2014, has been instrumental in leading the Company’s finance, technical, and commercial functions.
Board Committee Re-constitution
In light of these appointments and cessations, the Board also approved the re-constitution of its various committees, effective October 1, 2026. This includes changes to the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Risk Management Committee, Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and Finance and Investment Committee, with new chairpersons and members appointed across these key bodies.
The re-appointments of several Executive and Independent Directors were also approved, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. These include re-appointments for Joint Managing Director and Whole-time Directors, as well as Independent Directors.
