Adani Power Limited (APL) has announced the assignment of its recently awarded 2500 MW Renewable Energy (RE) RTC power supply contract to its wholly owned subsidiary, Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited (PTSL). This strategic move allows APL to concentrate on its core thermal, nuclear, and international hydroelectric projects, aiming for steady revenue and predictable profitability.
Strategic Contract Assignment
Adani Power Limited (APL) has entered into an agreement to transfer the rights and obligations of its 2500 MW Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE RTC) power supply contract to its subsidiary, Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited (PTSL). This contract was originally awarded to APL by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited (MSEDCL) on April 2, 2026, for a period of 25 years.
Focus on Core Business
The assignment is part of Adani Power’s long-term strategic vision to invest in capacity expansion within the thermal, nuclear, and international hydroelectric sectors. By transferring this renewable energy contract to PTSL, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions Limited, APL aims to sharpen its focus on its core competency in baseload power generation. This strategic realignment is expected to ensure steady revenue and predictable profitability for the company.
