KIMS Hospitals: Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 36.1% to ₹1,196 Crore

KIMS Hospitals Reports Robust Q1 FY27 Performance

KIMS Hospitals has announced its financial and operational results for the first quarter of the Financial Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated strong growth across key financial metrics, underscoring its expansion and operational efficiency.

Financial Highlights – Q1 FY27

  • Total Revenue: Reported at ₹1,196 crore, an increase of 36.1% year-on-year and 10.3% quarter-on-quarter.
  • EBITDA: Reached ₹240 crore, up 20.1% year-on-year and 10.9% quarter-on-quarter.
  • EBITDA Margin: Stood at 20.1%, compared to 20.27% in Q1 FY26.
  • PAT (Profit After Tax): Recorded at ₹37 crore, against ₹85 crore in Q1 FY26.

Operational Performance

The operational highlights for Q1 FY27 include:

  • Average Revenue Per Operating Bed: Grew by 9.7% year-on-year.
  • IP Volumes: Increased by 26.6% year-on-year, with 72,493 admissions.
  • OP Volumes: Saw a growth of 28.5% year-on-year, with 6,58,617 outpatient visits.

Key Financial Initiatives

KIMS Hospitals successfully raised ₹1,500 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), which was oversubscribed. A significant portion of these proceeds, ₹1,100 crore, has already been utilized for debt reduction, enhancing the company’s balance sheet strength. An additional preferential allotment to promoters is valued at ₹600 crore.

New Unit Performance and Expansion

The company has opened a new unit in Kerala (Palakkad), bringing its total to three units in the state. The Bengaluru cluster, including Mahadevapura and Electronic City, is showing strong performance, with Mahadevapura already achieving EBITDA positivity. The company is focused on stabilizing newly commissioned hospitals and is exploring growth opportunities within its existing geographies, prioritizing greenfield and brownfield expansions.

Debt Reduction

The total debt, which was ₹3,250 crore as of March 31, 2026, has been reduced to approximately ₹2,400 crore as of July 2026, following the repayment of ₹1,125 crore from QIP proceeds.
