Westlife Foodworld Limited has disclosed strong financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company achieved a consolidated revenue of INR 7.36 billion, representing a significant 12% year-on-year growth. This quarter marks the company’s strongest topline growth, highest same-store sales growth, and fastest guest count growth in recent times.

Key Financial and Operational Highlights

Same-store sales growth stood at a healthy 4.3%, with positive growth observed across all three months of the quarter. The company highlighted strong momentum driven by value-led initiatives and operational excellence. McDelivery continues to be a key growth engine, with both on-premise and off-premise channels showing broad-based growth.

Operating EBITDA margin remained broadly stable despite inflationary headwinds, demonstrating resilience through disciplined cost governance and structural improvements. Gross margin was at 67.6%, and restaurant operating margin saw a 5% year-on-year increase. Operating EBITDA increased by 11% year-on-year.

Expansion Plans and Strategic Initiatives

Westlife Foodworld remains on track to open over 60 new restaurants in FY27, aligning with its guidance. The company is also focused on strengthening brand relevance through initiatives like its new brand campaign, ‘Let’s Family at McDonald’s’. The organization is realigning its operating structure from three divisions to five to enhance agility and proximity to markets.

The company received the Global Breaking Ground Development Award from McDonald’s Corporation, recognizing its development excellence. With a strong brand, modernized network, and digital capabilities, Westlife Foodworld is well-positioned for future growth in the Indian market.
