Vedanta Limited has declared its Unaudited Consolidated Financial Results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (ended June 30, 2026). The company announced a remarkable 152% year-on-year surge in Profit After Tax (PAT) to ₹5,294 crore. This significant growth underscores the company’s robust operational execution and financial discipline.

Record Financial Highlights

The quarter saw Vedanta achieve its highest-ever Profit After Tax and EBITDA. Consolidated Revenue reached ₹23,456 crore, marking a substantial 51% increase year-on-year. The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) also reached a record high of ₹8,469 crore, up 98% year-on-year. The EBITDA margin stood strong at approximately 57%.

Strong Financial Position and Credit Ratings

Vedanta maintained a best-in-class Net Debt/EBITDA ratio of 0.30x. The company also reported a reduction of ₹2,223 crore in Net Debt during the quarter. Liquidity remains strong, with Cash & Cash Equivalents at ₹19,992 crore. Furthermore, both ICRA and CRISIL upgraded Vedanta Limited’s credit rating to AA+/Stable, reflecting the company’s sound financial footing and strategic capital allocation.

Operational Achievements Across Segments

Key business segments delivered strong operating performance. Zinc India recorded its highest-ever first-quarter mined metal production. FACOR achieved its highest-ever quarterly ore production and EBITDA, while Copper India saw its highest first-quarter sales in eight years. Zinc International continued to build momentum at Gamsberg.

ESG Milestones

In terms of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, Vedanta reported zero fatalities in Q1 FY27 and improved safety performance. The company consumed 0.291 billion units of renewable energy and achieved a 42% water recycling rate.

The Board of Directors met on July 30, 2026, from 02:30 p.m. to 03:00 p.m. IST, to approve these results.
