Term and Experience
The appointment is for the financial year 2026-27 and is contingent upon the approval of the company’s shareholders. M I Shah And Co. has confirmed their eligibility and will hold the office for a period of one year, commencing from the conclusion of the upcoming 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) until the conclusion of the 53rd AGM.
The firm brings substantial experience to the role, including:
- Over 25 years of experience in statutory audits of corporate entities, both listed and unlisted, under various allied laws.
- Over 25 years of experience conducting tax audits for corporate and non-corporate entities under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- The proprietor has over 20 years of experience in handling project finance, particularly Greenfield Projects.
- Over 13 years of experience in conducting statutory audits of trusts and managing their income tax filings and scrutiny assessments.
- Over 10 years of experience in conducting statutory branch audits for nationalized banks.
