The Board of Directors, upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved these appointments during their meeting held on August 13, 2026.
New President of Buying & Merchandising
Mr. Manu Agarwal has been appointed as the President Buying & Merchandising, effective August 13, 2026. He will also serve as Senior Management Personnel. Mr. Agarwal brings approximately 25 years of experience in the retail sector, with a strong background in buying, sourcing, merchandise planning, and inventory management. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Aarkey Retail Private Limited, where he managed key functions related to buying, sourcing, and inventory management. In his new role, he is expected to oversee the company’s buying and merchandising functions, aiming to strengthen its merchandise proposition and sourcing efficiencies.
New President of Operations
Mr. Dinesh Malpani has been appointed as the President Operations, also effective August 13, 2026, and designated as Senior Management Personnel. Mr. Malpani possesses approximately 30 years of experience in the retail and omnichannel sectors. His distinguished career includes senior leadership roles such as CEO of Jubilant Retail, Retail Head at Hiranandani Retail, and Executive Vice President at Mahindra Retail, among others. His expertise encompasses retail strategy, omnichannel transformation, business transformation, and e-commerce. A Commerce graduate and alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mr. Malpani is expected to contribute strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities to drive customer-centric growth.
Financial Results Approved
In addition to the appointments, the Board also considered and approved the unaudited financial results of the Company for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. These results, along with the Limited Review Report from the Statutory Auditors, were taken on record.
