Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited has officially confirmed a change in its Senior Management Personnel. The Board has appointed Mr. Pankaj Gupta to the role of Chief Digital Officer (CDO). This appointment takes effect immediately from February 17, 2026.
Executive Profile and Experience
Mr. Gupta is a seasoned transformation leader with more than 30+ years of extensive cross-functional experience spanning IT, Cloud, Data Center (DC), Applications & Managed services, Telecom, Digital, and Analytics services.
Prior to joining Ujjivan SFB, Mr. Gupta held the position of Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at Karnataka Bank. In that capacity, he was responsible for spearheading a holistic digital transformation agenda and was instrumental in establishing the bank’s Digital & Analytics Centres of Excellence.
His professional history also includes leadership roles at several major technology and service providers, such as Sify Technologies Ltd., HCL Services Ltd., Wipro Infotech, Acer India (Pvt) Ltd, and Godrej Pacific Technology Ltd.
Educational Qualifications
Mr. Gupta holds a PG Diploma in Marketing with International Business from NMIMS, Mumbai, and a B.E. in Electronics & Communications from MREC, Jaipur.
