TVS Motor Company has reported its highest-ever sales performance for the month of May 2026, reaching an unprecedented milestone of 5.67 lakh units. This achievement signifies a robust 31% sales growth over the same period in the previous year, when sales stood at 431,275 units in May 2025.

Segment-wise Performance
Two-Wheeler Segment
The two-wheeler segment demonstrated strong performance with total sales increasing from 416,166 units in May 2025 to 543,111 units in May 2026, marking a 31% growth. The domestic two-wheeler sales also saw a significant rise of 24%, growing from 309,287 units in May 2025 to 384,565 units in May 2026.
Within the two-wheeler category:
- Motorcycle sales grew by 30%, from 211,505 units in May 2025 to 273,802 units in May 2026.
- Scooter sales increased by 32%, from 166,749 units in May 2025 to 220,740 units in May 2026.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Segment
The Electric Vehicle segment experienced exceptional growth, registering a 56% increase in sales. Sales grew from 27,976 units in May 2025 to 43,632 units in May 2026.
International Business (IB)
TVS Motor Company’s International Business sales surged by 49%, with units sold increasing from 118,437 in May 2025 to 175,991 units in May 2026. The two-wheeler sales in the international market also saw a substantial rise of 48%, growing from 106,879 units in May 2025 to 158,546 units in May 2026.
Three-Wheeler Segment
The three-wheeler segment also contributed to the overall growth, recording a 55% increase in sales. Sales rose from 15,109 units in May 2025 to 23,474 units in May 2026.
