TVS Motor Company has strengthened its international footprint with the launch of the TVS Ronin top variant in Sri Lanka. Designed for riders who prefer an ‘unscripted’ way of life, the motorcycle blends modern technology with a retro aesthetic. The launch event featured an immersive ‘Ronin Ride’, where participants rode from Colombo to the historic Galle Fort to commemorate the model’s arrival in the region.

The TVS Ronin is engineered for versatile performance, powered by a 225.9 cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine. It delivers 20.4 PS of power at 7750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. Key highlights include 41 mm USD front forks, rear mono-shock suspension, and disc brakes equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Smart Connectivity and Pricing
To appeal to younger, tech-savvy consumers, the motorcycle comes equipped with SmartXonnect™ Bluetooth connectivity, which enables turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, and call alerts. The bike features all-LED lighting and premium graphics. The model is currently available at an introductory price of LKR 1.499 million (ex-showroom, Sri Lanka), marking a significant step in the premiumization of the local two-wheeler market.
