Trent: Reminder Issued for Unclaimed Dividend Payments

Trent Limited has issued a reminder to its shareholders regarding unclaimed dividend amounts. The company is urging shareholders to claim their outstanding dividends by sending in the necessary documents to the Registrar and Transfer Agent. Failure to do so by the specified due date will result in the transfer of these unclaimed amounts to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) as per regulatory requirements.

Trent Limited has officially communicated a reminder to its shareholders concerning the process of claiming outstanding dividend payments. This intimation is being sent to identified shareholders who have yet to claim their entitled dividend amounts. The company is encouraging these shareholders to take prompt action to secure these funds.

Claim Process and Documentation

Shareholders are requested to submit the required documentation to the Company’s Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) by the specified due date. For shareholders holding shares in demat form, a copy of the Demat Account Statement (client master list) is required, ensuring correct bank account details are registered. For those holding shares in physical form, the Investor Service Request Forms ISR-1 and ISR-2, duly filled, along with supporting documents like a cancelled cheque with the shareholder’s name printed, must be submitted.

Transfer to IEPF

The company noted that outstanding dividends not claimed by the due date will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (‘IEPF’) established by the Central Government. This action will be in accordance with the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016. After the transfer to IEPF, shareholders will be entitled to claim the dividend directly from the IEPF by submitting an online application.
