Transcorp International Announces H1 FY27 Financial Performance

Transcorp International Limited has released its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The company has reported a stable revenue from operations for the half year, amounting to ₹474.38 crore, compared to ₹476.06 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Profitability and Earnings Growth

A key highlight of the financial performance is the substantial growth in profitability. Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 31.59% to ₹2.72 crore, up from ₹2.07 crore in H1 FY26. This strong PBT growth was complemented by a 28.69% increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), which stood at ₹1.99 crore. Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) also saw a notable improvement, rising to ₹0.62 from ₹0.48 in the prior year.

Strategic Milestones and Business Developments

Alongside its financial results, Transcorp International detailed several significant strategic developments. The company has successfully secured the renewal of its Authorised Dealer Category-II (AD-II) Licence from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) with perpetual validity. This license enhances its capacity for global remittances and trade-related transactions, particularly for MSMEs.

Furthermore, Transcorp has achieved membership in the Reserve Bank of India’s Indian Financial Network (INFINET) and the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS). This positions the company to initiate and settle NEFT, RTGS, and merchant transactions, reducing reliance on other banks.

In a notable industry-first, Transcorp has enabled UPI PPI Discoverability on Third Party Application Providers (TPAPs) through linkage with the BHIM application. This allows its Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) card and wallet holders to make interoperable UPI payments.

The company has also been empanelled as a Business Correspondent for Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), further augmenting its financial inclusion initiatives by deploying customer service points across India. This initiative expands its network, which already includes over 1,350 banking service locations in collaboration with State Bank of India and now IOB.

Management Commentary and Outlook

The management expressed satisfaction with the performance, noting the stability and growth across financial metrics. They emphasized the focus on strengthening earnings quality and sustainability, alongside expanding capabilities. The perpetual AD-II license renewal is seen as a significant milestone that will bolster new business opportunities and customer relationships.

Looking ahead, Transcorp remains focused on leveraging partnerships to grow its foreign exchange, remittances, digital payments, and financial inclusion businesses. Continued investment in technology infrastructure and strategic initiatives positions the company to capitalize on emerging opportunities in India’s financial services landscape.
