Tilaknagar Industries: Completes ₹5.99 Crore First Tranche Investment in Black Tiger Distilleries

Tilaknagar Industries Limited (TIL) has announced the completion of the first tranche of its investment in Black Tiger Distilleries Private Limited (BTD). The company invested INR 5,99,99,957.36, acquiring 14,628 CCPS and 100 Equity Shares. This move brings TIL’s stake to approximately 12.5% of BTD on a fully diluted basis, advancing its strategic growth objectives.

Investment Tranche Completed

Tilaknagar Industries Limited (TIL) has successfully completed the first tranche of its strategic investment in Black Tiger Distilleries Private Limited (BTD). This development follows earlier intimations made on September 2, 2026, and September 4, 2026, detailing the agreement for this investment.

Details of the First Tranche

The aggregate amount for this initial investment was INR 5,99,99,957.36 (Indian Rupees Five Crores Ninety-Nine Lakhs Ninety-Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Seven and Thirty-Six Paise). As a result of this investment, BTD has approved the allotment of 14,628 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) and 100 Equity Shares to TIL. Following this allotment, TIL now holds approximately 12.5% of the paid-up share capital of BTD on a fully diluted basis.

Overall Investment Plan

This investment is part of a larger plan, approved by the Finance Committee of TIL’s Board of Directors, to acquire a substantial stake in BTD. The total aggregate consideration for the investment is set at INR 22,00,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Twenty-Two Crores only), to be disbursed in two tranches. The company continues to pursue strategic opportunities to expand its market presence and consolidate its position in the industry.
